The LEAP YEAR & LIGHT OPERA LUNCHEON & CONCERT, designed by Seth O'Kegley and
performed by the Oak Ridge Chorus, is this Saturday, February 29, at
First United Methodist Church. If you haven't heard Seth describe

The certain-to-be-delicious buffet luncheon by Judy Dodd Catering is
$30 for adults ($15 for youths 18 & under), and begins at 1:30 PM.
The menu includes /Orange Pecan Salad with Honey-Poppyseed Dressing,
Champagne Chicken Breasts, Parsley Red Potatoes, Fresh French-Style
Green Beans with Almond Slivers & Parmesan Cheese, Rolls, Chocolate
Fudge Cake, Tea, Water, Coffee/. A themed auction item will be
available for silent bidding through intermission.
THERE IS NO RUSH TO EAT AND RUN! The luncheon will be held in the
Multi-Purpose Room, as will Act I of the concert, which begins at
2:00 PM. Attendees purchasing the luncheon will be able to enjoy
their lunch at table seating during Act I. Concert-style seating
will be available for those not electing to purchase the lunch; tea
and cookies will be provided.
Act I features charming and amusing solos and small scenes -- it is,
indeed, light opera -- performed by members of the Chorus. Following
intermission, Act II of the concert features the full Chorus, and
will be performed in the Sanctuary.
All proceeds go to ORCMA in support of the Oak Ridge Chorus

Concert tickets are purchased separately. $15 for adults; $5 for
